I apologize for this note getting out a little late. The November Board focused on approving a heated gutter system for the CSB, hired a new probationary firefighter, and reviewed the initial draft of the Park and Recreation Plan. There is work to be done on the plan and a public hearing will be scheduled for early summer.

The December meeting will be establishing the January budget meeting schedules as well as the Board meeting schedule for 2026. I will be posting for the Board meeting draft agenda on the website after 2 PM on Thursday Dec 11 and the full Board package by Saturday December 13 after 2 PM. NOVEMBER 2025 PRELIMINARY FINANCIAL RESULTS

November results reflect the Township running deficits until TWP tax collection begins in December.

REVENUE $406,380 Lower than prior year ($59,649) and below budget by ($24,089) 

EXPENSES ($1,786,844) Higher than prior year ($14,030) and higher vs budget by ($91,034) 

NET ($1,380,464) Loss is higher than the previous year ($73,679) and budget ($115,623) *

*The Unfavorable variance to budget of $115,623 was driven by the downpayment for the new fire truck pumper of $150,000. Ambulance revenue related to runs were down $28,000 while road expenses were under budget by $71,100 .

TOWNSHIP MEETINGS: PLEASE MONITOR THE WEBSITE FOR UPDATES

The December ZBA meeting is cancelled as there are no cases to be heard. The Planning Commission is meeting of December 15 is cancelled. The Regular TWP Board meeting will be held December 16 at 7 PM. All meetings will be live streamed and recorded.
